Registration fees

 

Registration fees include conference attendance and materials, welcome reception, coffee breaks, three buffet lunches, and a sightseeing tour. Conference banquet is optional and must be booked at the time of registration. All taxes are included in the registration fee.

Conference attendants can make reservations for accompanying persons to attend the welcome reception and the sightseeing tour, or the conference dinner. Reservations for accompanying persons can be made through the personal area of each participant in the link for Social program reservations.

    

 

Registration forms will only be processed if accompanied by payment. Payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM

 

A pre-registration receipt and confirmation will be automatically emailed to you after a successful submission. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Receipt/Confirmation

A confirmation of your pre-registration will appear directly online after a successful registration submission. Please, note that you will be registered when payment has been received. If you do not get an immediate confirmation your registration was not entered correctly. There will be a link on the receipt/confirmation to access your personal area, and links to hotel reservations and abstract submission.

Cancellations Policy

Refunds will be made once the event has finished. We only accept written cancellations sent to the Technical Secretariat.

Financial Assistance

The deadline is 18 November 2013.
Funds will be available to support the participation of PhD students that might otherwise be unable to attend. Awards are limited to the cost of registration. FEMS will provide support for members of a FEMS society and the organizing committee will provide support for students from non-european countries. Students can submit one application form only either for a FEMS Young Scientist Meeting Grant or for the ECFG12 Financial Assistance Fund, and must be registered in the conference at the time of submission.

FEMS Young Scientist Meeting Grant.
FEMS requires that a Young Scientists Meeting Grantee is:
A member of a FEMS Member Society, confirmed by any officer of her/his society,  
Less than 36 years of age at the closing date of the meeting,  
An active microbiologist and
A presenting author of the abstract.

Housing

Rooms in the conference venue are limited and should be booked in advance. Hotel room reservations can be made after registering for the conference in the personal area of each participant.

Conference Banquet

Conference banquet is optional and must be booked at the time of registration. The Conference Banquet will take place in the Restaurante Abades Triana (web page). The restaurant is located on the bank of the Guadalquivir River with a spectacular view of the city center.
