      • Pathogenic and Mutalistic Interactions

  3. Presentation Preference
Select Invited, Concurrent or Poster presentation. Be sure to submit under the correct category:
    • Invited - Plenary session speakers, concurrent session chairs, and those that have been asked specifically by a concurrent session chair to speak in their session.
    • Concurrent - will be reviewed by session chairs and if not selected to speak in a session will be programmed as a poster.
    • Poster - will automatically get programmed as a poster.

  4. Enter body of abstract.
Check to ensure that the main body of the abstract does not exceed 2,500 characters, including spaces. The title, authors or affiliations should not be included in the main body of the abstract. In addition to the invited speakers, session chairs will select three abstracts from those submitted under the “concurrent” option. All authors who applied for an oral presentation during concurrent sessions will receive an e-mail from the organizers with the result from the selection process. All authors who submit an abstract will be expected to bring a poster even if you are asked to give a concurrent session talk.

You can submit your abstract from the personal area once you are registered for the conference.

Equipment for Oral Presentations

The following equipment will be provided in all plenary and concurrent sessions: a laptop computer, data projector, laser pointer and a lavaliere microphone.
Plenary speakers will have 25 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for question and answers.
Concurrent session speakers will have 15 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for question and answers.
Presenters must arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of their session to load their presentations. The preferred method is for presenters to load their presentation on the meeting computer. If you have movies or animation and they do not transfer well to the meeting computer, there will be hook-ups available for presenter’s computers. If you plan to use your computer, please bring the necessary cable.

Poster Sessions

There will be two poster sessions. The useable space for each author will measure 90 cm wide x 120 cm high.  No materials for making posters will be available. We encourage photos of the authors be attached to posters to facilitate identification. Abstracts submitted for poster presentation will be assigned to the session topic indicated on the submission. Posters will be grouped alphabetically by the presenting author’s last name (family name) in the research areas.
